This "book drive" is initiated by the Philippine Librarians' Associations Incorporated, National Board of Trustees (PLAI-NBOT) with the theme: "One Million and Counting..."
It is a nationwide campaign activity for libraries affected by natural calamities (Typhoon Pablo). In Region XI, it is coordinated with PLAI-Davao Region Librarians' Council to facilitate the distribution to those devastated libraries in the region.
Due to the hectic schedule in their respective libraries of the PLAI-DRLC officers, the distribution was realized last November 27, 2013 to the following libraries:
1) Montevista National High School - 3 boxes
2) Compostela National High School - 3 boxes
3) Compostela Municipal Library - 2 boxes
4) New Bataan National High School - 3 boxes
5) Monkayo National High School - 3 boxes
